As we close December 2025, we are pleased to share a month marked by meaningful engagement, global collaboration, and continued progress for India’s livestock sector. Throughout the month, CLFMA OF INDIA actively strengthened industry linkages and supported sustainable growth across dairy, poultry, aquaculture, and animal nutrition.

 

Below is a snapshot of our key activities and milestones from December 2025, each reinforcing our collective mission to build a resilient and future ready livestock ecosystem.

CLFMA OF INDIA @ CRUSHCON 2025 Hosted by USSEC–MENASA at Dubai on 03-04 Dec 2025.

 

CLFMA OF INDIA actively participated in CRUSHCON 2025, hosted by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) – MENASA region, at W Dubai – The Palm. The conference emerged as one of the region’s most influential platforms, bringing together global thought leaders, policymakers, economists, researchers, and agribusiness experts to deliberate on how soya sustainability, innovation and trade are reshaping the global feed and food ecosystem.

 

The deliberations strongly resonated with CLFMA’s mission of strengthening India’s livestock, poultry and aquaculture value chains through reliable feed raw material sourcing and sustainable trade partnerships.

 

Key highlights included:

Global market trends shaping 2026 trade flows, and nutrition security.

Sustainability driven value creation across the soya supply chain.

AI enabled decision making, predictive analytics, and macroeconomic outlooks.

Research based insights on soymeal nutrition, poultry performance, and heat stress mitigation.

 

A recurring theme across sessions was the rising global demand for protein and vegetable oils, positioning soya uniquely as a dual purpose crop, high quality feed protein and edible oil of particular relevance to India’s growing livestock sector.

 

The conference concluded with the HungerCon Networking Dinner, hosted by Right to Protein, celebrating innovation in food and nutrition and reaffirming global commitments toward nutrition security.

CLFMA OF INDIA’s participation reaffirmed its proactive engagement with global stakeholders and its commitment to sustainable feed solutions, trade resilience and long term nutrition security.

The 2nd Millet–Maize–DDGS–Ethanol International Summit 2025, themed “Unlocking the Future of Millets, Maize, DDGS and Ethanol,” was successfully held on 15th - 16th December 2025 at Hotel Leela Ambience, Gurgaon, Delhi.  

 

CLFMA OF INDIA extended its support to the 2nd Millet–Maize–DDGS–Ethanol International Summit 2025, themed “Unlocking the Future of Millets, Maize, DDGS and Ethanol” held at Hotel Leela Ambience, Gurgaon.

 

The Summit served as an important platform for discussions on the evolving role of millets, maize, DDGS, and ethanol in India’s agri, feed, and bioenergy ecosystem.

 

Mr. Divya Kumar Gulati, Chairman, CLFMA of India participated as a Guest Speaker, highlighting the association’s active engagement in policy and industry dialogue related to feed ingredients, raw material availability, and sustainability. His participation underscored CLFMA’s commitment to fostering balanced growth across the livestock, feed, and ethanol sectors through collaboration across the value chain.

 

The summit witnessed participation from a wide cross section of stakeholders from India and abroad, enriching discussions and reflecting the growing global relevance of these sectors.

Dairy Seminar at KVASU, Mannuthy – Postponed

A Dairy Seminar, jointly planned by CLFMA OF INDIA, the U.S. Grains Council, and the Bioproducts Council, scheduled for 10th December 2025 at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), Mannuthy, has been postponed due to the upcoming Kerala elections.  The seminar will be rescheduled during January–February 2026. Updated details will be shared with members in due course.

National Veterinary Commission (NVC) Bill – High-Level Committee Meeting:

The High-Level Committee Meeting constituted to draft the National Veterinary Commission (NVC) Bill, hosted by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD), was held on 20th December 2025.

 

Mr. Divya Kumar Gulati, Chairman, CLFMA of India participated in the meeting virtually, reaffirming CLFMA’s constructive role in national policy discussions shaping the future of veterinary governance in India.
