CLFMA Key Delegation Meeting dated 10th March, 2026:
The month began with CLFMA’s participation in a key delegation meeting organized by the Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture (ICFA) with the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, on 10th March 2026. The meeting focused on India–US trade engagements and the broader global trade landscape, emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral partnerships to boost India’s agricultural exports. This was followed by CLFMA’s participation in the Round Table Discussion on “Growing Agri Exports by Leveraging Opportunities through FTAs and Trade Deals” held on 19th March 2026 at India International Centre, New Delhi. The deliberations highlighted market access, non-tariff barriers, export readiness, and the need to build a robust agri-export ecosystem.

Maize & Millet Summit & Expo 2026 held on 13th –14th March, 2026 at Gurugram:
CLFMA also participated as a Supporting Association at the Maize & Millet Summit & Expo 2026 held on 13th–14th March 2026 at Gurugram. The summit brought together key stakeholders from across the agriculture value chain to discuss sustainability, technological advancements, and market opportunities in maize and millets. During the discussions, critical challenges related to feed ingredient availability and pricing were highlighted, along with the need for strategic interventions to ensure stability in the feed sector.

1st Board of Directors Meeting of IFIF on 18th March, 2026:
On 18th March 2026, Mr. Divya Kumar Gulati, Chairman of CLFMA OF INDIA, participated in the 1st Board of Directors Meeting of IFIF, reflecting CLFMA’s continued engagement at the global level.

Meeting at Krishi Bhawan, Delhi on 19th March, 2026:
A significant policy-level meeting was held on 19th March 2026 at Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi, under the chairmanship of the Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, to review export logistics challenges arising due to disruptions in the Middle East region. CLFMA actively participated in the discussions, highlighting concerns related to rising feed costs driven by global supply uncertainties, particularly for premixes, feed additives, and amino acids.

CLFMA participated in the Roundtable Dialogue organized by ICFA on 19th March, 2026:
On the same day, CLFMA also participated in the Roundtable Dialogue on “Poultry for Protein Security: A Backbone of Nutrition Security for Viksit Bharat,” organized by ICFA. The discussion emphasized the critical role of the poultry sector in ensuring affordable and accessible protein, contributing to national nutrition security and rural livelihoods.

CLFMA’s participation in DDGS Market Connect 2026 held on 20th March 2026:
CLFMA’s engagement in knowledge and technical platforms continued with its participation in DDGS Market Connect 2026 held on 20th March 2026 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event brought together industry experts and stakeholders to discuss the role of DDGS as an alternative feed ingredient, focusing on quality parameters, policy support, and its application in livestock and dairy nutrition.

CLFMA organized a National Dairy Seminar on 25th March 2026 at Mannuthy, Thrissur, Kerala:
Further strengthening its outreach at the grassroots and academic level, CLFMA organized a National Dairy Seminar on 25th March 2026 at Mannuthy, Thrissur, Kerala, in collaboration with the Department of Animal Nutrition, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVAS). The seminar covered key topics such as dairy nutrition, calf and transition cow management, use of DDGS, and heat stress management, providing valuable insights to farmers, students, and industry professionals.

CLFMA OF INDIA’s Representation to GOI:
In addition to these engagements, CLFMA undertook an important policy initiative by submitting recommendations to the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying on 31st March 2026, advocating for the inclusion of safe food-to-feed pathways in regulatory guidelines. This initiative reflects CLFMA’s commitment to promoting sustainability and efficient resource utilization within the livestock sector.
