CLFMA through its monthly round-up updates all the activities carried out throughout the past month. I am pleased to present to you some of the significant highlights from CLFMA OF INDIA’s recent activities in the month of March 2024:
CLFMA OF INDIA Delegation Meeting with Soybean and Corn Grower Farmers from USA on March 22, 2024 in New Delhi:
A delegation from CLFMA OF INDIA had a fruitful meeting with representatives from the United Soybean Board and other key stakeholders from the US agricultural sector and the participants were viz. CLFMA OF INDIA Chairman Suresh Deora, Gary Berg from United Soybean Board, Kimberly Atkins, Director - Strategic Partnerships, USSEC, Jerry Slocum, Director, USB, Courtney B. Kingery, CEO, Indiana Soybean Alliance, Mike McCranie, US Farmer and Board Director, USSEC, Dennis D. Hupe, Director of Field Services, Kansas Soybean Association, Tom Griffiths, Director, USB, Kevin Roepke, USSEC Regional Director, South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa & Jaison John, Managing Committee Member, CLFMA OF INDIA & Team Lead-India, USSEC. Discussions revolved around updates on the US soybean and corn crops, as well as insights into the Indian Poultry Industry's status and grain consumption trends. The US farmers extended a generous invitation for CLFMA OF INDIA to visit agricultural farms in the USA, focusing on soybeans and corn, which presents exciting opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
CLFMA OF INDIA Participated in the Right to Protein Run organized by the Veterinary Association of Nepal and supported by USSEC on March 23, 2024 in Kathmandu, Nepal
CLFMA actively participated in the Right to Protein Run. CLFMA OF INDIA Chairman, Mr. Suresh Deora visited Kathmandu, Nepal on 23rd March, 2024 to witness the Right to Protein Run Organised by the Veterinary Association of Nepal and supported by USSEC. This event was pivotal in raising awareness about the importance of protein in our diets and promoting health and nutrition within our communities. Mr. Suresh Deora's presence at the event underscored our commitment to initiatives aimed at improving public health and well-being.
As we reflect on these recent engagements, it's evident that collaboration and knowledge-sharing are integral to driving positive change within the livestock sector. By leveraging insights from global counterparts and actively participating in initiatives that promote health and sustainability, we can collectively propel our industry forward.
